Rare Roman Iron Plumbata Mamillata Javelin Head

This piece is an extremely rare Roman weapon of arms.  This piece was designed to travel further than most Roman spears and/or javelins, and was designed to wound, rather than kill.  There are only a handful of these pieces that are recorded, as they were made from iron and the attached lead weight was molded around the shaft.

Mint and Scarce Greek Xenon Plate with Goddess

This Greek Xenon culture plate is mint quality, and depicts a young goddess.  Xenon pieces usually are designed as a kylix or a kantharos, and large plates of this size are scarce to rare.  In addition, this beautiful piece displays a young goddess, rather than a standing swan, or a running dog or hare which is normally depicted on Xenon type pieces.
