Glass aryballos, circa 6th century B.C., that the bronze stand could have been designed for. Note the rounded bottom that would fit into the round bowl of the bronze stand, and most of these glass pieces needed a stand or a support to stand upright. These glass aryballoi were also suspended from a cord.
