Exceptional Greek Silver Hellenistic Fibula with Decorative Elements

This exceptional and detailed Greek silver fibula dates to the Hellenistic Period, circa 4th-3rd century B.C.  This piece is approximately 2 inches long, by 1.6 inches wide, and was assembled from several sections.  This beautiful example has five "paddle wheel" decorative elements, and is a scarce to rare type that is seldom seen on the market.  This piece was made to impress, and was worn only by a wealthy person in antiquity.  A piece that also has a great deal of eye appeal.  $2,375.00      http://www.apoloniagallery.com
